“Adagio” | An Out West Story

OUT WEST is an ongoing photo series that grew from my love for Western Films.
In it, I combine both traditional and contemporary “old-west” inspired fashion with landscapes that transport us back to the time of settlers in the frontier.
The intent of this series is to explore the beautiful parts of pioneer life, the connectedness to the land on which you live, and the echos of that way of life in today’s world.
This series does not come without the need to mention the cruel and brutal acts many of our European ancestors committed against the indigenous people of the lands they migrated to.
Therefore I wish to pay my respects to the Bundjalung people, traditional custodians of the lands on which I created these images.
